Solve:
1.Q: How do I turn on the FM radio?A: Briefly press the "FUN" button on the microphone, then successively press the number "7" button to turn on the commercial FM radio. Repeat the procedure to turn off the FM radio.
2. Q: This transceiver has a 1750 Hz tone for repeater access in the EU.
A: Yes, we've redesigned the PCB and added a 1750 Hz tone module based on EU customer requests. All production batches of radios starting April 19th are configured with the 1750 Hz tone.
3. D: How to save a memory channel?
A: 1st. Press the V/M button on the front panel to switch the radio to VFO mode,
2°: Enter the desired frequency with the microphone's numeric button
3rd: Momentarily press the microphone "FUN" button, then press the number key "0" and press the microphone "Up" or "Down" button to select the desired channel number. (Note: The LCD will display "Cover->001", "Cover->001" means channel 1 is occupied, you can save the frequency to cover the previous memory channel, SAVE->234 means the selected channel is empty, you can directly save the frequency to it.)
4th: Press the microphone's "FUN" button to save the frequency to the channel. Once the data has been saved, the word OK will appear.
5th: The memory channel can be retrieved in the channel template.
4. Q: Where can I find HIROYASU IC-980Pro programming software?
A: Please send us your email address via the order message, then we will email it to you immediately after reading your message.
5. Q: How do I turn on the built-in cooling fans?
A: The cooling fan works intelligently when the RF power amplifier radiator reaches a certain high temperature even though the transceiver continues to receive.
